o the Thamud people… This she-camel of Allah is a sign unto you: So let her graze on Allah’s earth and do not let her come to any harm, or you will be seized by a terrible punishment.

（我确已派遣）赛莫德人的弟兄撒立哈去教化他们，他说：“我的宗族啊！你们要崇拜真主，除他之外，绝无应受你们崇拜的。从你们的主发出的明证确已降临你们，这只真主的母驼可以作你们的迹象。故你们让它在真主的大地上随便吃草，不要伤害它，否则，痛苦的刑罚必袭击你们。”（古兰经7：73）

Then they ham-strung the she-camel and insolently defied the order of their Lord… so the earthquake took them unawares and they lay prostrate in their homes in the morning.


他们宰了那只母驼，违抗他们主的命令，他们并说：“撒立哈啊！你把你用来警告我们的刑罚拿来给我们看看吧，如果你是使者的话！”于是，霹雳袭击了他们，一旦之间，他们都僵卧在各人的家里。（古兰经7：77）

The Thamud rejected their Warners.
赛莫德人否认过警告，（古兰经54：23）
For we sent the she-camel as a trial for them.
我差遣母驼考验他们（古兰经54：27）
