Qais states:
"Surely, you and that which you worship besides Allah are the fuel of Hell. To it shall you come" (chapter 21 verse 99)
Jochen Katz stated :
The logic is clear, Jesus is not God [5:75], millions of Christians are worshiping Jesus today and even the Qur'an acknowledges this [5:119], therefore Jesus will be fuel for the Hell fire [21:98] together with the Christians.
Thats what you call Logic? Basically that proves you have no argument, and I will prove this as I have refuted other allegations.
That is exactly what the Qur'an says! Whether it is logical, or not, is a different issue! Also, I honestly do not believe that you have refuted anything up to this point.
How so? Please tell us.
"Aye, they would certainly realize if they could see the time when those who were followed shall disown their followers and shall see the punishment, and all their ties shall be cut asunder." (chapter 2 verse 167)
This verse vividly describes the scene when those guilty of Idolitary will be called to account for their evil beliefs and practices. They will look to their leaders for help and guidance, but the latter will disown them and all ties of love and kinship between them will be cut asunder and all supports and all means of rescue will be lost. The verse is a stern warning to those who blindly follow their leaders and, being misled by them, reject God's Messengers.
All right, I will go along with that.
"And those who followed shall say: 'If we could only return we would disown them as they have disowned us.' Thus will Allah show them their works as anguish for them, and they shall not get out of the fire" (chapter 2 verse 168)
Having despaired of receiving help from their leaders, the disbelievers will, on the Day of Judgement, wish that they may be sent back to the world so they may denounce these leaders in this world just as they were disowning them in the next, But this will be only a vain desire doomed to perish unfulfilled. Nay, the self same desire will become a source of anguish and punishment for them.
Perhaps.
"Those against whom the sentence of punishment will have become due, will say, 'Our Lord, these are those whom we lead astray. We led them astray, even as we had gone astray ourselves. We now disassociate ourselves from them and turn to Thee. It was not us that they worshipped." (chapter 28 verse 64)
The words:
"those against whom the sentence will have become due"
refer to the leaders of disbelief whom the misguided people blindly follow. Or the Words may apply only to those associate Gods who themselves will be under divine punishment and *not all those whom the idolaters worshipped because some of the righteous and God fearing men have also been made the object of worship by their misguided followers.
Since Jesus claimed Divinity (associated Himself with God) and accepted the worship of His followers who believed that He was God , He will, according to the Qur'an, be punished along with His followers!
"It was not us they worshipped"
Mean that the leaders of disbelief would say, that their so called followers did not worship them but only their ideas and fancies, I.e., it was because of their own false and foolish beliefs that they were led astray from the path of truth and righteousness.
According to this passage, Jesus is in BIG trouble because He accepted the worship of His followers!
"And remember the day when We shall gather them all together, then shall We say to those who ascribed partners to God, "Stand back in you replaces, you and your 'partners'" Then We shall separate them widely one form another, and their 'Partners' will say, 'Surely, it was not us that you worshipped'" (chapter 10 verse 29)
The verse speaks of those alleged "partners" whom people set up as equals to God without their knowledge or sanction, e.g., the Angels, the Prophets, or saints such as Rama and Jesus ect. The next verse supports this inference in which it is clearly stated that these "partners" will call God to witness that they were utterly ignorant of the fact that they had been set up as equals to or co-partners with Him. The verse further points out that the idolaters possessed no evidence for the allegations that the prophets and saints of the past favoured their deification. we know read the next verse..
But Jesus said that He and God are One and Jesus accepted the worship of his followers. By the way, Rama is a Hindu god (an incarnation of Vishnu) and not a Christian saint!
So now with this evidence in hand we can see that Jesus and other saints of course will not go to hell as inferred by these overzealous Christians.
Jesus said that He was equal to God, which is why the Jews wanted to execute Him. Jesus also accepted worship from His followers, Therefore, according to the Qur'an's argument, He will be in hell!
"Surely, you and that which you worship besides Allah are the fuel of Hell. To it shall you come" (chapter 21 verse 99)
Means that only the people who claimed to be Gods besides Allah would be the ones punished, and as I already have proven, it would be these people and their followers who would wish that they had followed the right path.
But Jesus claimed to be God!
Conclusion..
Once again the logic is clear. The Qur'an tells us that Jesus is not God [Sura 5:75]. However, Jesus claimed to be God and accepted the worship of His followers. In fact, Millions of Christians are worshiping Jesus today and the Qur'an acknowledges this [ Sura 5:119]. Therefore Jesus (who claimed to be God) will be fuel for the Hell fire [21:98] together with the Christians who worship Him!
